The Superbowl is only weeks away, and everyone is picking their favorite teams — or at least placing their bets. The odds are being stacked, and teams are being picked that are most likely to achieve victory. But as we all know the odds are not always in your favor.

Take for instance the 2008 Superbowl, when the New York Giants were 13.5 point underdogs to the New York Patriots, the 2007 victors. The Giants had lost to the Patriots only weeks before, but qualified with a three game winning streak. They had to face the powerhouse champion quarterback Tom Brady. And yet they won! They sacked Tom Brady five times, and won the game with an incredible touch down in the last 35 seconds because they weren’t willing to give up.
